Firefox 3.0 continues with the Alpha versions, and its code name is still Gran Paradiso. On Mozilla's Google Calendar, I saw that Firefox 3.0 Alpha 6 will be released on June 29th. The first Beta version of Firefox 3.0 will officially come out on August 31st, and the final version might be available by the end of the year. However, judging from the update log, this Alpha version has seen significant improvements. Primarily, it introduces the all-new Places feature, allowing users to more conveniently manage bookmarks, RSS subscriptions, and browsing history via the sidebar. The much-rumored interface improvements have not yet appeared in this version.
