After the download was completed, Xunlei's Security Center immediately popped up to scan the file for viruses. A few seconds later, Xunlei informed me that the file was virus-free and could be used normally. However, my gut feeling told me that this file might still be problematic! Not sure whether it was due to wanting to test my instincts or because of the mental sluggishness from staying up late, I ran the file by using the "Open File" shortcut button provided by Xunlei. After running the file, there was no immediate reaction, and I instantly realized that I must have been infected with some kind of Trojan! The sudden sense of danger made me snap out of my fatigue and focus intently on dealing with the crisis.
