Yahoo Webmaster Tools Trial

Yahoo has just launched the Yahoo Webmaster Tools service, and I'm trying it out today. Currently, Yahoo Webmaster Tools offer two main services: the Yahoo Site Explorer and a Custom Search Engine.

It feels like Yahoo's Custom Search is more user-friendly than Google's Google Coop, especially for site search results, making it more practical. Of course, this might just be my personal impression.

For the custom search, you can set the search type, design the appearance of the search box, customize the look of the search results, and finally get the code to place on your webpage to see the effect. You can check out a demo on my sidebar.

Additionally, I submitted my site through the Site Explorer yesterday, and it was already verified today. There are two verification methods provided: one via meta tags, and the other by uploading a file. You can view webpages linking to your blog address, etc. Everyone can give it a try.
