Korea's first OPEN MARKET free chat website, UBSCHOOL (cn.ubschool.com), was officially launched on the 22nd. The free chat conducted in an OPEN MARKET setting presents a new challenge to traditional foreign language conversation services in E-Learning.

Unlike regular academies with only a few foreign teachers, UBSCHOOL boasts a vast pool of instructors worldwide who are available for lessons at any time. Students can directly select the instructor that suits them best and evaluate the quality of their lessons. By introducing the concept of 'OPEN MARKET', instructors are encouraged to manage and continuously improve the quality of their teaching. This helps students and working adults save both time and money.

Additionally, anyone can become an instructor, not just a student. This is a unique feature that distinguishes UBSCHOOL from others, as it provides opportunities for foreigners who wish to learn Korean to become instructors.

After becoming a member of UBSCHOOL, one can teach their native language to people around the world. However, the quality of the lessons will be rated by the students (consumers) through post-class evaluations, which is also a privilege granted to students.

Tuition fees are not charged monthly but calculated based on actual class time down to the minute. This is another characteristic of UBSCHOOL. There is no charge for the first minute, during which students can decide whether they want to study with the teacher. Payment usage is secured through a conditional delegation stamp contract system.

The content of conversations with instructors can be saved for future review. After each class, feedback provided by the instructor can further enhance the student's learning experience.

Currently, websites in four languages - Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese - are operating simultaneously. Alongside one-on-one video chats, there is also a free text chat service. In the future, students will also be able to participate in courses in group formats.
