After reading Hengge's "The Most '2' (Stupid) Internet Company in My Heart," I was quite moved. However, since I am not familiar with WEB 2.0 sites, I would like to talk about the most "second-rate" portal site in my heart—Tom.com.
Tom.com, just looking at this western name gives me a sense of unease. In daily life, "tom" is often used to refer to Americans, and yet this website named after an "American" is actually targeted at Chinese people. But I don’t know whether Tom.com is here to serve Chinese people or to make Chinese people suffer.
