John Brandrick, a British national, sought medical attention in 2005 due to physical discomfort and was later diagnosed with advanced pancreatic cancer. Afterwards, completely losing hope, he squandered all his wealth. However, the hospital later informed Brandrick that he only suffered from pancreatitis and there was no mortal danger. This patient, who was almost bankrupt, prepared to sue the hospital for compensation under the name of "misdiagnosis".
Diagnosis
According to the report by The Times on July 7, Brandrick, 62 years old, lives in Newquay, Cornwall, southwest England. In February 2005, he visited Truro Hospital in Cornwall due to jaundice. Scan results showed that there was a seven-centimeter long tumor in his body. After a series of examinations, Brandrick was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
