Shenzhen private detective blog exposes the history of a Guangzhou female student being kept, receiving ten thousand yuan per month

On the 20th, Zheng Fan, a private detective from Shenzhen, posted on his blog a three-year "kept woman agreement" signed between Guo Fang (a pseudonym) a female college student from a university in Guangzhou, and Chen Ming (a pseudonym), a private business owner. The agreement stipulated that Guo Fang would receive ten thousand yuan per month as a kept woman, and she promised not to have a boyfriend or sleep with others during the period of the agreement.

From freshman to junior year

Zheng Fan stated that the "mistress" Guo Fang, originally from Shaoguan, is 23 years old and is a third-year computer science student at a university near Tianhe District in Guangzhou.

In 2005, while still a freshman, Guo Fang met Chen Ming in an online chat room.

Guo Fang's father passed away several years ago due to illness, leaving her mother to raise her and her two younger brothers. Her college tuition was paid for by relatives. Before becoming a kept woman, she worked two tutoring jobs but still found life difficult. Around her, there were some classmates who were also kept women, and their lives seemed "colorful."

Chen Ming offered to help her financially, and after receiving help multiple times, Guo Fang had sexual relations with him and did not resist even after knowing he was married.

Monthly allowance: ten thousand yuan

Chen Ming proposed giving her ten thousand yuan per month, but Guo Fang was uneasy and thus suggested signing a kept woman agreement.

"Having investigated extramarital affairs for seven years, this is the first time I've seen such a kept woman agreement!" said private detective Zheng Fan (a pseudonym). He was hired by Chen Ming's wife to investigate his extramarital affair. After discovering Guo Fang's true identity, he told her to stop seeing Chen Ming. Guo Fang "carefully took out two neat sheets of paper from her wallet" - the "kept woman agreement" she had signed with Chen Ming. The signing date was April 25, 2005, making it exactly two years today.

Kept woman agreements are not legally protected

After lengthy negotiations with Guo Fang, Zheng Fan couldn't understand why Guo Fang never felt humiliated about being a kept woman. She believed that her relationship with Chen Ming was simply fulfilling a contract, where both parties bear rights and obligations.

Yin Peng, legal advisor for the Southern Daily, stated: The content of the agreement is illegal and is not protected by any law.

After the negotiation, Guo Fang promised to sever ties with Chen Ming. She returned to her normal life and will graduate from university next year.
