Posterous: Reviving the Zombie Blog

A zombie blog is a blog that has stopped being updated or those that have been registered but never used. According to a survey last year, although there are over a billion global blogs, only 7.4 million blogs are actively updated, and this figure is based on data from the last three months. This indicates that only 5.5% of blogs are still active, while the remaining 94.5% are inactive. Today, I'm not going to talk about the ratio of active to inactive blogs, but rather about how one website has targeted this 94.5% that no one wants to pay attention to. Even more surprisingly, this 94.5% has contributed to a 30% increase in traffic for the site each month.
