Last time, I introduced the ranking of the Fortune 500 in the United States for 2007. Today, let's take a look at the ranking of the world's most valuable brands.

CNET Technology Information Network reported internationally on April 24 that in the recently announced global rankings of the most influential and valuable brands, Google defeated Microsoft and Coca-Cola to become the number one brand.

Google has beaten traditional brands like Coca-Cola, Marlboro, and Toyota for the second year in a row.

The ranking calculated the companies' financial performance and customer satisfaction. Google topped the list with a brand value of over $66 billion, which is three times its brand value last year.

Microsoft ranked third this year with a brand value of $55 billion. Other technology companies in the top ten include China Mobile, ranked fifth, and IBM, ranked ninth.
