A Few Reasons Not to Use Hotmail

Today, while browsing on TECHWEB, I came across an article stating that Microsoft admitted up to 98% of emails sent to Hotmail are spam. This prompted me to want to list a few reasons why one might choose not to use a Hotmail email account. Although I have always used MSN as my primary chat tool, I have never used Hotmail for my email due to several compelling reasons.

First, as mentioned earlier, there is simply too much spam. It's hard to believe that this is the email system from Microsoft, a global internet giant. When MSN notifies you that you have new emails, you often find they are mostly spam messages when you check. Since these messages are sent to a Hotmail address, I can't mark them as spam because the email addresses are on my MSN contact list.
