1. Ajax - The Power of Integration

In 2005, riding the wave of Web 2.0, Ajax gradually came into the sight of domestic developers in China and quickly became a nationwide trend. This integrated technology, named in February 2005 by Jesse James Garrett of Adaptive Path, combines various technologies such as JavaScript, XHTML and CSS, DOM, XMLHttpRequest (hereafter referred to as XHR), XML, and XSLT. It provides asynchronous HTTP request processing for web applications, enabling them to achieve rapid response capabilities similar to desktop applications and offering a superior user experience.

From Ajax, one can clearly see the extraordinary charm that emerges when various technologies are integrated:

- It uses XHTML and CSS to create standardized presentation interfaces.

- It employs DOM for dynamic display and interaction.
