China Advertising Network (http://www.fabuad.cn/) reported that the State Administration for Industry and Commerce recently issued a notice prohibiting enterprises from publishing advertisements in the name of state organs. The notice pointed out that recently, some places have appeared with content such as "special supply for state organs" in advertisements, which violated the provisions of the "Advertising Law" that prohibit the publication of advertisements in the name of state organs and their staff.

To strictly enforce the "Advertising Law", the notice clearly stated: If an advertisement contains content such as "special supply for (state organs)" or "special supply to (state organs)", it is considered a violation of Article Seven, Section Two, Item (Two) of the "Advertising Law". Administrative departments for industry and commerce at all levels should impose severe penalties according to Article Thirty-Nine of the "Advertising Law". For fabricating facts, releasing false advertisements or making false propaganda, penalties should be imposed according to relevant provisions of the "Advertising Law" or the "Law Against Unfair Competition"; if suspected of constituting a crime, it shall be transferred to judicial authorities for handling according to law.
