I don't know what Ma Yun is up to. The "Yisou" once launched by Yahoo! was closed and redirected to Yahoo.com.cn. Now it re-debuts with a new name "Yisou". The new Yisou.com interface is more concise, the search results are displayed in a vertical list, and the pagination uses side tabs. It also supports searching by Chinese pinyin. On the right side of the search results, pictures and text search results related to the keywords will be displayed. Overall, it looks pretty good.
Our site has previously reported on the experimental search engine developed by Yahoo! China, called "EasySou", which translates into Chinese as "Yisou". Clearly, the current Yisou.com is closely related to Easysou.cn, being almost identical in search interface and search results. From this, we can see that the re-emergence of Yisou.com was carefully planned. The purpose is undoubtedly to help Yahoo! reclaim its "lost territory" and regain its share of the search engine market.
