Born in 1980, Pan Zhi graduated from Shanghai Second Medical University. In 2008, his father co-founded Zhejiang Kanshun Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. in Sidu Town, Yueqing City. The pig farm was established with first-class facilities and equipment, but lacked management personnel. Thus, Pan Zhi's father had the idea of asking his son to take over.
"When the pig farm was set up, I had already graduated and was doing clothing business in Jiaxing," Pan Zhi said. His father asked him to manage the pig farm, which he initially refused. However, unable to resist his father's persuasion, he gave up his current business and returned to Yueqing to become a "pig herdsman".
