23 Robots Inducted Into The Robot Hall Of Fame [Exclusive Info]

The Robot Hall of Fame is an annual robot selection event organized by Carnegie Mellon University in the United States. Since 2003, a jury composed of scholars, researchers, writers, designers, and entrepreneurs has basically selected nominated real or fictional robots each year.

This year, five more robots have been selected for the Robot Hall of Fame, bringing the total number of robots inducted into the Robot Hall of Fame to 23. Among them, there are 13 real robots and 10 fictional robots from science fiction films and TV shows.

Of the five robots selected in 2009, three are real robots.
