Asus: X58 Workstation Motherboard: Seven PCI-E x16 slots

Asus today finally released the workstation motherboard "P6T7 WS SuperComputer" that was once showcased at CeBIT 2009, with its most distinctive feature being the inclusion of up to seven PCI-E x16 slots.

This motherboard is based on the X58+ICH10R chipset and supports LGA1366 interface Core i7 series and Nehalem Xeon 3500/E5500 series processors. It exclusively uses two NVIDIA nForce 200 bridge chips to support seven PCI-E 2.0 x16 slots, one of which is fixed in x16 mode, three can be set as either x16 or x8 mode, and three are in x8 mode. It supports dual/ triple SLI, dual/ triple/ quad CrossFireX, and can accommodate three NVIDIA Tesla and one NVIDIA Quadro professional graphics cards, providing a total of up to 960 stream processor units and 4TFlops floating-point computing capability.
