Global financial center ranking: Shanghai 24, Beijing 36

The Global Financial Centres Index (GFCI), which was released on Thursday, March 15th in London shows that London is ranked first among global financial centres and New York comes second. Hong Kong and Singapore are ranked third and fourth respectively. Shanghai, which was favored in a similar survey two years ago, has this time been ranked at number 24.
