Email Marketing
I'm not sure if the model of email marketing is outdated. Some of my friends say this route no longer works, but personally, I think it still has potential.
Below, I will simply explain my operational methods, which are purely based on my personal exploration. Please point out any mistakes:
1、Collection. Collect a large number of emails. There are quite a few software options for this, but their speeds aren't fast enough. Currently, I plan to purchase two pieces of software: one is Ecrawl and the other is CraigsCrawl. Both cost around 300-400 USD, and there are no other software alternatives that I can find. Among the software I've studied, these two are excellent. As a side note, you won't be able to find cracked versions of these two softwares.
2、Verification. Not all collected emails are valid. This was the biggest mistake I made during testing. I collected many emails, spent a lot of time sending them out, but the results weren't ideal. After finding email verification software, I discovered that many of the emails were not valid. Therefore, the verification step is very important; good verification can save you a lot of time.
3、Sending. You can use bulk email software or servers to send out emails. Recently, I have been testing Interspire, which I mentioned before. This script is quite expensive, around 500 USD, and there are certain daily limits on the number of emails sent to avoid being blocked by ISP providers. If your conditions allow, consider purchasing your own server.
You could also consider using bulk email software. I've been researching related materials over the past few days. Bulk email software is essentially spam, so whether its effects are ideal remains unknown, and I haven't tested it yet.
4、Content. The content of the email is also very important, including the title, salutation, body, links, images, and signature. These are the key aspects to pay attention to. I'll discuss this in more detail when I have time.
5、Tracking. It's essential to track open rates and click-through rates to see which email method works best. This is similar to the knowledge required for PPC. You can refer to the materials I've written previously.
6、Profitability. The cost of email marketing is extremely low. Therefore, once you figure out the initial steps, the later work becomes easier, and the profits won't be small. Students, feel free to spend more time testing.
7、Other considerations. Other things to keep in mind include whether HTML is supported, whether automatic replies are added, and whether images are included while considering the size of the content and the speed of opening, etc.
