Today, Windows XP is officially retired.

On April 14, 2009, Microsoft will formally stop its free mainstream support service for Windows XP and no longer provide free updates and fixes for security vulnerabilities. After having its life extended again and again in response to the will of the people, XP has finally entered into a semi-retired status. So for the large number of XP users, how should we respond?
