Microsoft Windows XP is officially retired today and will no longer provide vulnerability updates.

As of today, Microsoft will officially stop providing free mainstream support services for Windows XP, and will no longer offer free updates or security vulnerability fixes. After having its life extended time and again due to public demand, XP has finally entered a semi-retired state. So, how should the large number of XP users respond?
