Windows Live: Add, change, or remove an alternate email address

When you sign up for a Windows Live ID, you need to provide an alternate email address (different from your primary Windows Live ID email address). If you are unable to access the account on your Windows Live ID, using the alternate email is the easiest way to reset your password. If you forget your password, we will send it to your alternate email address.
