"Minuscule" is an excellent work from two young French artists, Thomas Szabo and Hélène Giraud. The style of the work is very novel, with scenes and sound effects taken from real life, while the main characters of the small stories - insects and small animals - are designed using 3D animation technology. Each episode is only four or five minutes long, with no dialogue throughout, instead adopting a documentary style to describe the details of the ecological environment of the insects and the stories that arise from it. These short animations not only provide a fascinating insight into the world of insects but are also very humorous, interesting, and full of philosophical meaning.
