Apple today announced the next major upgrade for iPhone software: the version 3.0 of iPhone OS, which is expected to be officially released by this summer. However, just after the conference ended, Engadget has already obtained the Beta version of the iPhone 3.0 firmware through special channels for trial use.

It is claimed that the current Beta version of iPhone 3.0 is still quite incomplete, with slow operation speed and many new features actually unable to run.
