According to the website of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology(MIIT), in response to this year's CCTV 315 evening galas exposure of China Mobile Communications Corporation Shandong Company sending a great number of commercial advertising short messages for profit, MIIT ordered China Mobile to investigate the whole event immediately, and submit an investigation report within the limited time. And it required the three telecommunications operation enterprises, namely China Mobile, China Telecom and China Unicom to carry out self-examination and correction in a targeted manner within the country.
