Chinese online recruitment service provider 51job, Inc. today announced its unaudited financial results for the fourth quarter and full year ended December 31, 2008. Total revenue for the fourth quarter of 2008 was US$28.76 million (RMB 1.96 billion), a decrease of 6.6% from the previous quarter and a decrease of 1.8% from the same period last year. Operating profit was US$860,000, a decrease of 73.5% from the previous quarter and a decrease of 79.1% from the same period last year. Operating margin was 3%.
