Next week, Microsoft Research will host TechFest 09. Every year, Microsoft Research holds the internal TechFest event so that product teams can identify promising technologies and accelerate their commercialization. The main areas involved include: search technology, artificial intelligence, social networking projects, user interfaces, images, media, software, security, etc. Unfortunately, last year I did not cover much of this content. Since I have relatively comprehensive materials on the social networking category projects, I will provide a review here.
