Intel Unveils New Centrino Logo; Rumor Has It That Intel Will Change Product Logo and Introduce Star Ratings

Intel is about to change the logo of its products, which will likely happen around March or April. The new logo will change from the current 'upright style' to a 'horizontal style' (as shown in the illustration). The elements inside should remain largely the same (though the font might be slightly larger). Interestingly, five stars will be added below the logo. Intel will rate each CPU's performance with a star rating system, giving it between 1 to 5 stars based on its efficiency.
