The Experience of Boosting PR to 4 and Achieving 4000 Daily IPs within One Month for a New Website

It's been six years since I started working after graduating from university. Back in school, I had heard stories about people making websites and earning a substantial amount of money. College students were running personal sites that were generating significant daily income, and classmates who knew how to build websites would proudly show off their creations. Since then, I've always wanted to create my own website. However, despite working in the IT industry after graduation, I never succeeded in creating one. But throughout this time, I kept learning about website construction, promotion, and SEO knowledge. Finally, in October, I made up my mind and registered a domain name. After more than a month of coding and building the site, it finally went live on November 20th, and the joy was indescribable. By now, my site has been online for over a month, with its PR value rising to 4, and daily IP visits exceeding 3000. Don't believe me? Well, let me explain slowly. Through hard work day and night, I have summarized eight rules for quickly improving PR values and traffic for new websites.

1. Website layout should use CSS + DIV and meet W3C standards. It’s best to generate HTML pages because they load fast, are favored by major search engines, get indexed quickly, and receive higher weight. To rapidly increase PR value, generating HTML is the best choice.

2. Register your site with all major search engines like Baidu, Google, Yahoo, Sogou, Alexa, etc. Even lesser-known ones you know should be included. Don’t celebrate too early though; just registering won’t make spiders come to crawl your site immediately. Find some high PR forums to post threads, adding your website link within the posts. The content of the posts should be relevant to the forum themes, and your URL should be cleverly integrated. Use different titles and post on different forums, remembering to choose those with very high PR values. Post between midnight and 3:00 AM. The reason is that moderators usually sleep at such late hours, so your posts won’t be deleted easily. Moreover, high PR forums are frequently crawled by spiders, and new posts are indexed within 2-6 hours, especially if the content is original and around 150-300 words. Spiders will then follow the links in your posts to crawl into your site. Even if your posts are deleted the next day, it doesn’t matter because the spider has already reached your site, provided your site contains content that spiders like. My site was indexed by Google on the third day and by Baidu on the 18th day, while others were also indexed soon.

3. Increase external links. There are several steps to increasing external links:

- Exchange quality links with sites that have high traffic and PR values. It's worth spending some money if it helps exchange quality friendship links.

- Submit to URL directories. Find all URL directories and submit your site to them. This is tiring but very effective because most URL directories have high PR values and are frequently visited by spiders. Additionally, these directories can bring you considerable traffic.

- Use Baidu Tieba and Baidu Zhidao to create accounts and skillfully ask and answer questions, embedding your website URL. For example, A asks: "I watched Naruto episode 430 on this http://www.uuke.cn comic website, but there's no episode 431. Do you know which site has it?" B can then answer. After a couple of days, let a few more people respond, then set the best answer. Do not exceed two such posts per day. Baidu tends to favor its own products.

4. Bookmarking. Register with major bookmarking sites like TianTian Bookmarks, TechWeb Bookmarks, etc. Add dozens of articles every day and recommend them actively. If an article gets promoted to the homepage, it can bring you 2000 IPs in a day. Bookmarking not only brings significant traffic but also increases external links.
