ESA: Collision of US and Russian satellites may threaten the Hubble Telescope_Satellite Collision

An American commercial communications satellite collided with a Russian abandoned military satellite on February 10 in the airspace over Siberia about 800 kilometers high. Jean-Francois Clervoy, director of European Space Agency's automatic freight spaceship project said in this regard that the cause of the collision still needs further analysis and that the fragments formed by the collision might pose certain threat to the Hubble Space Telescope.
