Google, Yahoo, Microsoft agree to big cleanup of Internet duplicate content

A rare collaboration between competitive search engine providers is about to take place: Google, Yahoo and Microsoft said on Thursday that they would support a new Web standard and remove hundreds of millions of duplicate webpage indexes.
