Comparison of Baidu and Google's ability to block pornographic information

It has been nearly three years since the Moonlight Blog explicitly pointed out the ridiculousness of Baidu's filtering technology, and now in 2009, let's see if Baidu has made any improvements.

Perform searches using the terms "色情" and "“色情 ”" (the latter keyword has an additional half quotation mark compared to the former). For Baidu screenshots, please refer to Gandoufu's blog.

Through the above search comparisons, it is easy to see that Baidu's so-called filtering technology can even overlook such a basic "anti-filtering technique" as adding symbols, which is truly disappointing. Moreover, this situation has persisted for years without any improvement. I originally thought that during this campaign against inappropriate content, "色情五月天" would be shut down for good. However, it turns out that Baidu helped me find this sexual启蒙 teacher again, haha. Hopefully, what I've written here won't bring more traffic to Baidu;).
