Comments: Human flesh search anti-corruption in line with China's national conditions

The latest result of the human flesh search is the downfall of Zhou Jiugeng, former director of the Jiangning district housing management Bureau in Nanjing. Zhou Jiugeng angered netizens because he claimed that "selling houses below cost price will be investigated" and was searched for high-grade cigarettes for 1,000 yuan and brand-name watches for 100,000 yuan. Just before the start of 2009, the Jiangning District Party Committee announced that he had made inappropriate remarks and had used public funds to buy luxury cigarettes, and decided to remove him from his post as director of the housing bureau.
