The Spring and Autumn as well as the Warring States Period was a special period in Chinese history. Wars broke out frequently and annexation and differentiation happened repeatedly. Meanwhile, all kinds of figures were active on the political stage of various countries. In the State of Zhao, one of the "Seven Heroes", a group of outstanding people emerged, who were admired by people for their great influence on the world.

Inside the Congtai Park where classical architecture and modern gardens are perfectly combined, on the north side of the Wu Ling Congtai Platform, there is a building facing south with a gable roof. This is the later generations' place to worship the seven wise men of the State of Zhao.

The entrance of the Seven Sages Shrine is a pavilion-style building. The open dark red door reveals a bit of solemnity inside the shrine. There are also two bronze lion sculptures at the gate. The three words "Seven Sages Shrine" are written on the plaque above the main door. The main building of the shrine has five rooms in width and one room in depth. It is a brick-wood structure covered with yellow glazed tiles. Inside the shrine are the color sculptures of the seven sages and a brief introduction of the characters. The color sculptures of the seven sages are lined up for people to admire. On the other hand, the walls on both sides tell the well-known stories of the seven sages.
