Lawyer: Chan Chun-Chung and Wong Cho-Sam had an intimate relationship
Wong Cho-Sam - In a new development in the billion-dollar inheritance dispute case involving Wong Cho-Sam, the lawyer for Chan Chun-Chung stated that Chan and Wong had been in an intimate relationship for 14 to 15 years.
Chan Chun-Chung, who claims to hold the 2006 will of the late chairperson of H.M.T Group Wong Cho-Sam, has been married for 16 years. This morning outside the court, his representative lawyer Martin Tai explained that the will names Chan as a beneficiary because Chan and Wong had maintained an intimate relationship for 14 to 15 years. He described their relationship as "long-lasting, close, and indeed affectionate love affairs." When asked whether Chan's wife, Tam Miou-Ching, was aware of her husband's past with Wong, Martin Tai simply responded that he would "not comment."
Martin Tai said that revealing this relationship would likely make Wong Cho-Sam very unhappy, and Chan Chun-Chung originally did not want to disclose such private matters. However, due to the disputes with the H.M.T Charitable Foundation, Chan felt compelled to make these private issues public. Chan has been accused of misleading Wong through a "feng shui will." Martin Tai stated that the accusations by the charitable foundation against Chan, claiming he orchestrated and finalized the 2006 will, are entirely false. Chan never participated in preparing the will and was unaware of his status as a beneficiary, leading him to feel hurt and extremely dissatisfied.
Additionally, both parties in the inheritance case agreed in court to send photographs of Wong Cho-Sam's 2006 will to handwriting experts in the UK hired by both sides to examine and analyze the authenticity of the signatures of the two witnesses on the will.
