How to properly maintain chiffon?
1. Do not hang beaded dresses in the wardrobe for a long time, otherwise the soft and loose chiffon will sag and deform.
2. Be careful not to get it wet. If water gets on a part of it, soak and wash the whole piece instead, then stretch and iron it to avoid shrinkage.
3. After washing, let it drip dry naturally without wringing it out forcefully.
4. Chiffon with heavy decorations is best stored flat in the wardrobe so it doesn't deform easily.
5. A chiffon dress worn once should not be placed in a plastic garment bag. It’s better to store it in a cloth bag which is breathable yet keeps dust away.
6. For chiffon clothes with sleeves, hang them on hangers. It's preferable to use hangers covered in fabric, or wrap the ends of the hanger with small towels so the sleeves don’t deform.
7. When spraying perfume, keep a distance to avoid leaving yellow spots.
8. If stained with wine or grease at a banquet, here are two tricks:
◆ Method one: First, blot with a tissue, then find some bean powder or flour to absorb the surface moisture. Gently blow away the powder afterward, and the stain will naturally disappear.
◆ Method two: Using soda water to wipe the stain can also be effective.
