Sometimes we only need a segment of music. How do we operate in GoldWave? Let's look at an exercise below:
1. Launch GoldWave
1) Click the GoldWave icon on the desktop or double-click the GoldWave icon in the installation folder to run GoldWave.
2) When you launch it for the first time, a prompt will appear. Just click "Yes" here to automatically generate a preset file for the current user.
3) After successfully entering, a gray blank window will appear, with a dark red controller window next to it. This is used to control playback.
2. Extract a segment of music using GoldWave
1) Click the second button on the toolbar, the "Open" button. In the open dialog box that appears, select a music file and open it.
There is an **m1** file in the images folder of this lesson that can be used for practice.
