Taboos and Techniques in CD Burning

1. Do not run other programs during the burning process.

If we pay close attention, we will find that the normal operation of the CD drive can slow down the computer's performance. Using a CD burner to write to a disc consumes even more system resources. If we run other programs at the same time, it may cause data transfer to be less smooth. In severe cases, it could lead to system overload, sluggish response, or even a system crash. Therefore, during the burning process, we should try not to execute any other programs, such as turning off screen saver programs, scheduled alarm programs, auto-dialing, auto-access programs, and any other programs that might be triggered to run.
