Knockoff debut? Chinese manufacturer launches the world's cheapest notebook

According to foreign media reports, a laptop claimed to be the "world's cheapest" was posted on Alibaba's English website, priced at only $130. However, just a few days later, this record was broken by a $99 ultra-portable notebook released by Jointech, a Chinese company. Both products are similar to Asus's Eee PC, and it is yet unknown whether they are knock-offs.
