System issues caused by hardware devices are not uncommon, and of course include hardware-related problems such as a dirty host or static electricity. These types of issues are relatively easy to handle; you just need to clean the hardware and release the static electricity using an appropriate method. However, system issues caused by software configuration settings related to hardware are less commonly seen.

In the case of a laptop, after installing the official camera driver, the system was unable to shut down properly. After repeated testing, unchecking the option "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" in the camera properties resolved the issue. Subsequent shutdown tests confirmed that the system could then shut down normally.
