1GB Twenty Years Ago

In the figure below, on the left is a tape drive with a storage capacity of 1GB from twenty years ago, and on the right is a present-day 1GB SD card. By comparison, they are indeed worlds apart. It was probably very hard to imagine twenty years ago how easy it would be today to carry 1GB around with us so effortlessly.
