Single-disk capacity reaches 334GB, 1TB Western Digital hard drive launched in Japan

According to a report from Dailytech, a 3.5-inch Caviar GP series hard drive from Western Digital is equipped with platters that have higher storage density. The 1TB capacity model number is WD10EACS-D6B0, and its single-platter capacity can reach 334GB. This hard drive has a speed of 7200rpm, the cache capacity remains at 16MB, the average seek time is 8.9ms, and it uses a 3Gbps SATA interface. This hard drive, prepared for the Asian market, has already been launched in Japan, priced at around 18,690 yen, which is approximately RMB 1252.
