A New Addition to Ultra-Portable PCs: PSP-Like Sharp UMPC D4 with Multiple Images

Japanese mobile operator Willcom has teamed up with Sharp to launch a portable terminal device - the Sharp D4 - which features multimedia broadcasting reception and PHS data communication functions (Japan's personal handy-phone system service). Although the Sharp D4 has not yet been officially released, some photos of the beta version prototype have already surfaced. The Sharp D4 has an elegant and compact design, utilizing black piano gloss finish material, and its streamlined appearance offers visual appeal. It is extremely compact, with dimensions of 84x188x25.9mm, and weighs only 470 grams, making its weight comparable to the renowned handheld gaming console, the PSP.
