The owner of the lost-and-found money and belongings, Zhong Wenfu, was extremely moved. On the 28th, a Yunnan passenger accidentally dropped her shoulder bag on the train, which was found by the on-duty staff at Zigong railway station. She tried to buy cigarettes as a token of gratitude but failed, then insisted on giving 2000 Vietnamese dong to the duty officer, who still refused politely.
At 10 o'clock in the morning of the 28th, not long after the K1140 train departed, a middle-aged woman in her fifties anxiously approached the on-duty passenger service staff at Zigong Station. She introduced herself as Zhong Wenfu, from Wuhua District, Kunming City, Yunnan Province, and said that she had left her shoulder bag on the train. Inside were two mobile phones, 1600 RMB, 18700 Vietnamese dong, bank cards, personal documents, and other valuable items.
After understanding the situation, the duty officer Zhong Xiujun quickly comforted her and immediately contacted the Neijiang passenger service office at the next stop of the K1140 train, asking them for help in finding it. However, due to the urgency, the description of the shoulder bag given by the owner was not detailed enough. The Neijiang station specifically arranged for duty personnel to search the train, but they did not find the shoulder bag lost by Zhong Wenfu.
Upon hearing this news, Zhong Wenfu became even more anxious, stomping her feet repeatedly. Just as she was about to leave in extreme disappointment, Zhong Xiujun called her back and said: "Don't worry, I will ask Zichong station to help you look again, maybe we can find it."
Subsequently, Zhong Xiujun asked Zhong Wenfu in detail about the appearance of the shoulder bag, the items inside, the carriage and seat number where it was lost, and immediately contacted the Zichong station for help in searching.
At 12:10 PM, good news finally came from Zichong station. With more detailed information about the shoulder bag, it was finally found and handed over to the K1273 passenger train to be brought back to Zigong station.
At this moment, Zhong Wenfu's heart was finally put at ease. At 1:50 PM, when the K1273 passenger train arrived at Zigong station, Zhong Wenfu took back her lost shoulder bag from Zhong Xiujun's hands with great excitement. She immediately bought a pack of "Yuxi" cigarettes to thank the station staff, but Zhong Xiujun politely declined. Then, Zhong Wenfu took out 2000 Vietnamese dong (Note by the reporter: 1 RMB = 3310.2594 Vietnamese dong) and tried to give it to Zhong Xiujun, saying it was just for commemoration, but was once again refused by Zhong Xiujun.
