OLED electronic passport

Samsung and German Bundesdruckerei have confirmed that they will be able to integrate 300 µm thick foldable OLED displays into passports for displaying dynamic images, making passports much harder to forge.

In this way, users can incorporate a specific video as their own unique identifier, thus increasing the difficulty of forging passports and other documents. Even with the addition of the OLED display, the page thickness is only 700 µm, and due to the use of an external battery design, it does not affect daily usage at all.
