China News Service, Yulin, March 2 (Yang Zhi Xiong, Li Yong, Tang Lin Lin) - Li Mou from Rong County in Yulin City, Guangxi, falsely reported to the police that he was robbed by two thugs with sticks in order to embezzle 80,000 yuan of public funds. After the case was uncovered, Li was administratively detained for 10 days by the police.

The police officers found that the situation described by Li did not match the "injuries" on his body. The next day, after two hours of questioning, Li finally confessed to the police that he had reported a false case in order to embezzle the company's payment for himself. According to relevant provisions of the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Public Security Administration Punishments," the Yulin police imposed an administrative detention of 10 days on Li and fined him 200 yuan.
