Our News Agency - Suspecting that his girlfriend's decision to break up was instigated by her parents, Yu Jinseng, a 21-year-old student at Beijing Science and Technology Vocational College, lured his girlfriend's mother out of the house and stabbed her multiple times, resulting in her death. Recently, the First Intermediate People's Court sentenced Yu Jinseng to death for intentional homicide.
According to the indictment, Yu Jinseng blamed his girlfriend's parents for her decision to end their romantic relationship, which led to resentment. Around 16:00 on March 15, 2011, Yu Jinseng went to his girlfriend's residence in Guanyinsi Northli Community, Huangcun Town, Daxing District, armed with a knife. After tricking his way into the apartment, he viciously stabbed his girlfriend's mother, Ms. Yu, more than ten times in the neck, chest, and back, causing her death from hemorrhagic shock due to bilateral lung rupture.
Yu Jinseng's girlfriend testified that while dating her, he still maintained contact with his ex-girlfriend and had physically assaulted her. During the 2011 Spring Festival, she proposed breaking up with Yu Jinseng, but he refused and frequently waited for her downstairs at her home.
Around 16:00 on March 15, her mother received a call saying there was a courier package waiting to be picked up. She didn't pay much attention as she was in the study, then heard her mother scream "ah" twice. Running out, she saw Yu Jinseng holding a knife and stabbing her mother in the back. Later, Yu Jinseng approached her with the knife, took her phone, and said, "If you come with me, I'll find someone to save your mom." Fearing for her safety and wanting to save her mother, she agreed to go with Yu Jinseng. He took her to Hebei and Tianjin, where police arrested him on the morning of March 18.
