Mr Zhang is 30 years old and lives in a rented old house in the railway neighborhood. On the afternoon of January 1st, while tidying up his room, he discovered a nest of baby rats in the corner of the bathroom wall. He took an iron rod and destroyed the nest. The adult rat fled while the 8 baby rats inside the nest were beaten to death with the iron rod. The adult rat that had escaped outside kept squeaking. That night, the adult rat returned, squeaking. Mr Zhang got up and drove it away. At around 3 o'clock in the morning on January 2nd, while Mr Zhang was sound asleep, he experienced a sudden sharp pain in his arm. After waking up and turning on the light, he saw a rat slipping down from his bed. He closed the door of his room and chased the rat with an iron rod. In the end, he killed it in the kitchen. There were tooth marks from the rat on the wound. The very next morning, Mr Zhang went to see a doctor. "The retaliatory nature of rats is too strong.
