Punishing corruption is a necessary condition for maintaining the advanced nature of Party members. In order to practice the important thought of the 'Three Represents' as the main content to maintain a communist activity of advanced sex education has just started, the CPC Central Committee formulated the "Compilation of Perfecting the System of Education, Supervision, and Equal Attention to Punishment and Prevention of Corruption," which has been printed and distributed by the Party. At the same time as advanced sex education, the anti-corruption horn has been blown again, forcefully demonstrating the determination of party and state leaders to resolutely punish and prevent corruption. This is a move that should be welcomed, fitting the common feelings of the people, and will certainly play a strong role in promoting the maintenance of a communist's advanced nature. As a prosecutor engaged in anti-corruption work, I would like to take this opportunity to talk about the relationship between maintaining a communist's advanced sex education and anti-corruption awareness.
Firstly, the relationship between the Party and the public depends on their attitude towards or against corruption. In the report at the Sixteenth National Congress, it was pointed out that the greatest risk after the Party comes to power is alienation from the masses. Among all forms of alienation from the masses, the harm caused by corruption is the strongest and most dangerous. If anti-corruption efforts are not effective, the close relationship between the Party and the people will suffer serious damage, the ruling status of the Party will weaken, and there will be a risk of loss. The direction of the heart, right the dumping, tells us from this meaning that the people's support or opposition is the decisive factor for the rise and fall of a regime. Currently, our Party faces a complex international environment and ever-changing domestic situation, charged with the historical mission of comprehensively building a moderately prosperous society. In this new situation, if we do not strengthen the self-construction of the Party and allow rampant corruption, it can lead to alienation from the masses, loss of cohesion, and even abandonment by the people. This is what we must never allow. Therefore, we must continue to learn from experience, innovate, and constantly improve our ability and level in anti-corruption work.
Secondly, corruption tramples on the Party’s advanced nature. The advanced nature of the Party is demonstrated through the exemplary deeds and good style of each Party member and cadre. However, corrupt words and actions profane the Party's purpose, tarnish the Party's image, and corrode the body of the Party. This is taboo for the construction of the ruling party and the origin of decline. Looking at all times and in all countries, some major parties in power for decades, seemingly in their heyday when they lose their ruling status, share a common reason: the lack of ability to punish and prevent corruption. From the large number of corruption cases in our country in recent years, it can also be seen that corruption, leading a luxurious and dissipated life, prostitution, whoring, corruption and bribery, taking bribes and bending the law, buying or selling, trading power for money, etc., fill every corner of society, causing deep-seated hatred among the people for the Party's advanced character, and also being a great irony and trample.
Thirdly, the effective punishment and prevention of corruption is the premise and foundation for maintaining social stability and economic development. Stability and the style of the Party and the government are closely related to corruption, destroying socialist democracy and legal system, damaging the prestige and cohesion of the Party and the government, making the masses of the people and the ruling party disunited. The result will inevitably lead to social conflict and unrest. At the same time, corrupt power allows power to enter the market, directly undermining the order of the socialist market economy and the construction of the national economy. If allowed to spread, the disaster caused will seriously disrupt social order and may even cause the entire national economy to collapse totally.
