He has used many types of photographic equipment, from 120 medium format film, digital backs to 135 digital SLRs, but for him, he prefers to use lightweight, highly flexible SLR cameras for shooting Cosplay anime photos. For external shoots, he mainly uses cameras like CANON 60D with ultra-wide angle and fixed focus lenses because this model is light and very practical. Ouyang feels that good equipment actually cannot solve many essential problems in photography; even the best equipment cannot match perfect composition and lighting. Therefore, he pays more attention to choosing lighting equipment than choosing a camera when taking photos.
