How to Use a Treadmill Safely

1. Before engaging in any exercise at a fitness club, you should undergo a physical test. If you have any medical conditions or drug allergies, you will also need a doctor's confirmation. Insurance is always the top priority.

2. Wear appropriate clothing, especially your sports shoes. You must choose a pair of comfortable and well-fitted athletic shoes.

3. Before using a treadmill, check that it is placed stably and that the surface is dry.

4. Before starting to exercise, stand on the footrests on either side of the treadmill and attach the emergency stop clip to your clothing. When everything is ready and the treadmill begins to move, place your feet on the treadmill's surface. If it's your first time, be sure to hold onto the side handles.

5. While exercising, look forward; do not suddenly turn your head, and certainly do not look back, as this can cause you to lose balance.

6. If your sense of balance isn't good, don't carry heavy objects while running.

7. Do not run backward on the treadmill or perform any dangerous actions.

8. When stopping your workout, make sure your heart rate drops below 120 beats per minute before pressing the stop button.

9. When getting off the treadmill, wait until the surface has completely stopped moving. Many accidents happen when people get off too soon after exercise.

10. If your weight exceeds 140 kilograms, do not "torture" the treadmill.
